Former TC Football and Hall of Fame Coach, George Gilbert passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer. Coach Gilbert coached with 3 different teams within the Hoosier Heartland Conference. Coach Gilbert came to TC after a long stint at Clinton Central and then moved on to Taylor. Coach Gilbert led our Trojans to the 2013 Class A State Championship. Coach Gilbert was an outstanding educator, a great coach and a tremendous mentor for many players and coaches. He was well respected in the coaching world and will be sadly missed. The Trojan Family offers our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Gilbert family in this difficult time. Coach Gilbert was one of a kind. RIP!!
